speaking of birds...

i saw a bird as i was walking peanut today. it was making all kinds of different bird sounds, kind of like a car alarm that makes every kind of alarm sound you can think of. and you think, is that really necessary? at least birds are infinitely less annoying than car alarms.

this bird was welcoming spring, or was trying to get some action from a pretty lady bird, or both. either way, I thought he was lovely.

another poo averted

I totally dodged a bird poo as I was driving home today. The bird swooped down right in front of my car, and I watched, in slow-motion, as he dropped his little present, and I swerved and missed the poo landing on my car. I felt an odd sense of accomplishment. I made a plan not to wash my car for another 6 months, and I'm sticking to it.
